My Various Work Spaces
I’ve said it before and I will say it again: There is no way I could work from home.
As a recovering workaholic, I need that physical separation of work and home. (Psst! Discover the “5 Reasons Why I Don’t Work From Home.”)
My studio is located on the top floor of The Tannery Marketplace, which formerly manufactured deerskin gloves.
I have a four window view of the Ammonoosuc River and decorated with a cheerful, pastel, vintage-inspired vibe. (Take a look at my “Things in My Office That Just Make Sense” reel from 8/31/22.)
Here are my four main workspaces:
1️⃣ My desk. It’s where you’ll find me most often.
2️⃣ My couch! I’ve made working from couch (“WFC”) a thing since doing homework in my school days.
3️⃣ My meeting table. It faces the windows so I have a view from the river too!
I also eat my lunch at this table. It’s so important to take a break and physically separate yourself from work.
4️⃣ My chill out chair. The chair sits in a corner beneath my photo studio backdrops and next to a window.
It’s my favorite place to read or practice German when I want a break from work!
Can you guess which workspace I was at when I wrote this post?
