2014: New Frontiers
A combination of resolutions and goals, this is what I would
like to accomplish in 2014…
*Graduate from Lyndon State College with a B.A. in English
and an A.S. in Business Administration this December.
*Find a flexible job I adore post graduation.
*Lose 10 more pounds to reach my goal weight of 119 pounds!
*Commit to being Paleo and cook (and bake)! (After all, I am
intolerant to both gluten and dairy, so why not take it one step further?)
*Become a better downhill skier.
*Hike a 4,000 footer.
*Build my strength.
*Be featured in the VW 100,000 mile ad campaign with
MEGABUG!
*Upgrade to a green 2010 bug with a sunroof and low miles.
*Expand my business. Improve the aesthetics of its social
media sites and have a professional website developed.
*Take more pictures to build my portfolio. Challenge myself
by trying new techniques, especially with lighting.
*Travel more. Already Hannah and I are visiting Canada
(Montreal and Quebec City) later this month, Nanny is taking me to Bermuda in
May, and Hannah might bring me to the Finger Lakes to visit her Gram!
*Learn more. Enroll in classes at WREN, Balance Bethlehem,
and the Little Herb Shoppe. And any photography workshops I can find.
As my professional academic career winds to a conclusion,
I’d like to take my last year and focus on the development of myself. Learn
more and challenge myself to try new activities. An unknown speaker revealed,
“Your current safe boundaries were once unknown frontiers.” In 2014, I hope to expand
my boundaries.
