1 Avocado, 2 Avocado, 3 Avocado, DONE

In celebration of our upcoming birthdays, Hannah and I are visiting Nanny and Grandpa this weekend. To say thank you for having us, we figured it would be a good idea to put our baking skills to use. Nanny adores brownies, but Nanny is also trying to eat healthy. Therefore, we decided to whip up some avocado brownies!

We selected wholesome and local ingredients, including King Arthur whole wheat flower, Stonyfield Farm french vanilla yogurt and Megg's Eggs (direct from the happy hens in my backyard). Furthermore, we also used Fair Trade certified avocados.

Avocados and chocolate are beautiful.

And so is the finished result.

In other news, we also celebrated my last day of working at the bank. I've been an employee for a year and a half (to the day), and I'm thankful to have learned so much and to have met a bunch of lovely people both in Franconia and Littleton. However, I am excited to focus on school and expand MegaBug Photography (which is growing by the day!). Food photography is becoming a new fascination of mine, therefore, I think I should spend more time in the kitchen too. =)
